Role: Commercial Lawyer – Public & Private SectorLocation: Flexible within the UKStart: ASAP | Duration: 4–6 monthsHours: Full-time (Part-time considered)OverviewWe're seeking a commercial lawyer for our customer to provide legal support to business teams during a period of increased transactional volume. This includes advising on high-value contracts, supporting bids, resolving complex contractual issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on complex, high-value commercial transactionsProvide pragmatic legal guidance across bids, disputes, and governance mattersLiaise with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risk and ensure contract complianceContribute to strategic projects and help drive legal process improvementsAct as a point of contact for stakeholders, offering legal and commercial insightEnsure activities comply with regulatory, competition, and internal policy requirementsExperience & SkillsQualified lawyer (2+ PQE) with strong commercial contracts experienceExperience in telecoms/technology sectors and public sector procurement preferredExcellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsAble to work independently in a fast-paced environmentBusiness-minded, pragmatic, and detail-orientedAbout ElevateElevate provides consulting, technology and services to law departments and law firms across the globe.
