Account Handler – Financial InstitutionsLocation: LondonSalary: £40,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) + benefits A dynamic Lloyd’s insurance broker is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join its Financial Institutions division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior brokers and contribute to the placement and servicing of complex FI risks.Role OverviewAs an Account Handler in the FI team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service and technical support across the full policy lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining accurate internal records and ensuring compliance with regulatory proceduresCollaborating with the Head of FI to place client policiesProviding technical expertise throughout the quote and placement processPreparing policy documentation efficiently and ahead of inceptionAssisting the Processing team with queries to ensure smooth entry handlingManaging placing enquiries and liaising with clients and insurersDrafting endorsements and quote packs as neededIssuing Evidence of Coverage documentsMonitoring and enhancing client service deliverySupporting senior account handlers, brokers, and clients post-placementWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in Financial Institutions insurance (ideally gained at a brokerage, but candidates from an underwriting background may also be considered)Good market connectionsStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetProgress toward ACII qualification (preferred) This is a chance to join a growing, fast-paced team in the heart of the Lloyd’s market.
