We are thrilled to be partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Facilities Assistant to support the smooth running of their Inverness office.This role is essential in supporting their legal team—both those based locally and visiting colleagues from other offices— by delivering a wide range of administrative and facilities services.What You’ll DoProvide administrative support to on-site and visiting colleagues as neededAct as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and third parties—via email, phone, or in person—delivering a professional and proactive serviceAnswer incoming calls and manage reception dutiesSet up meeting rooms and coordinate hospitality requirementsHandle all incoming and outgoing mail efficientlyComplete printing, copying, and scanning tasks with attention to detail and deadlinesConduct regular facilities checks and liaise with contractors for cleaning and maintenanceMaintain and update the office key logAct as Fire Warden, ensuring compliance with building safety procedures and fire protocolsAssist colleagues with printer-related issuesSupport health and safety tasks within the officeCarry out ad hoc administrative duties as requiredSet up and support AV equipment in client-facing areasLiaise with the IT team to report and escalate technical issues appropriatelyAdhere to the organisation’s information security policies, ensuring protection of all information assetsWhat You’ll NeedPrior administrative experience of working within a busy legal or professional service environmentGood communication skills and confident when dealing with people at all levelsAbility to maintain flexibility regarding tasks and workloadAlways presents a professional image to clients and other external organisationsThe successful candidate will be required to be flexible regarding working hours as from time to time it will be necessary to complete work during lunchtime or outside of core hoursGood interpersonal and problem-solving skillsA proven track record in a facilities background is preferredExcellent attention to detailExcellent IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and OutlookWhat You’ll ReceiveA competitive salary and benefits packageWhat’s Next?Contact Susan for more information or apply via the link below.Equal OpportunitiesCross Resourcing is committed to equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, and age.
