Check that risks taken on by VitalityHealth are priced correctly and follow the company's underwriting policies.Be the main go-to person for any questions about pricing, helping teams in Servicing, Retention, and Sales by providing timely and accurate answers based on the official pricing rules.Review discount requests with the Pricing team, ensuring their commercially viable and follow underwriting principles.Build strong relationships across teams to support collaboration and shared goals.Key Actions Provide accurate responses to requests received in person or by email, including supplying rate cards, and ensure this is done within the agreed service levelsConduct regular checks such as underwriting audits, quality assurance reviews, and twice-yearly tests to make sure processes follow the Large Corporate Underwriting PhilosophyKeep underwriting philosophy documents and guidelines updated as neededCarry out all quality checks required for underwriting licence progression and offer expert recommendations based on the resultsStay up-to-date and well-informed about underwriting guidelines and philosophies to ensure consistency and accuracy in your work and the work of othersMaintain accurate and up-to-date logs and databases to enable the production of reliable management informationAssess discount requests by analysing how a scheme is performing to make sure any discounts meet commercial requirementsSupport other tasks when needed, such as collecting monthly competitor dataWhat do you need to thrive?
