Job Description Are you an experienced administrator looking for a position with longevity and growth?Lester Aldridge is looking for a detail-driven and client-focused person to join our highly regarded Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a varied caseload, and build your expertise in a supportive, professional environment.If youre highly organised, proactive, and keen to deliver exceptional client service, this role offers the chance to take real ownership of your work while being supported to grow your skills.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the drafting of deeds relating to the creation, variation, and termination of trustsManage a caseload of trusts in administration, ensuring full compliance at all timesCarry out day-to-day trust administration, liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, and third partiesMonitor and manage trust assets, including financial accounts and investments, and liaise with investment managersMaintain accurate trust records both internally and on HMRCs Trust Registration Service (TRS), including registering new trustsOversee trust terminations, including preparing deeds of appointment, inheritance tax accounts, trustee statements, and distributions to beneficiariesSupport the tax team with trust accounting data entry, reconciliations, and arranging tax paymentsPrepare annual trustee policy statements and assist with trust reviews and trustee meetingsManage property insurance for trust assets (commercial and residential)Keep updated lists of trusts administered by the firm and maintain a calendar of key datesMaintain records for the firms trust corporation, including director ID, external accounts, and involvement in trust mattersDeliver excellent client service, responding promptly and professionally to enquiriesManage time recording, quarterly billing, and maintain efficient cost controlKeep up to date with changes in trust law, legislation, and best practiceProvide research and administrative support to solicitors on trust-related mattersSkills & Competence:Minimum 5+ years strong general office administration backgroundAn interest in learning all about trust law, with an opportunity to work towards STEP qualification (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners)Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressureExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasksEmpathetic and client-focused, with experience in dealing with older clientsProfessional, credible, and tactful with excellent written and verbal communication skillsPositive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player with a flexible approachWhy Join Lester Aldridge?At Lester Aldridge, we believe in supporting and developing our people.
