This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement and operational efficiency are key priorities.The RoleReporting into the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes across the site. You will play a hands-on role in driving efficiencies, resolving production issues, and supporting new product introduction.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and costSupport new product introduction from concept through to full-scale productionIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, waste reduction, etc.)Investigate and resolve production and process issues in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructionsWork cross-functionally with design, quality, and operations teamsMonitor KPIs and contribute to performance improvement strategiesCandidate ProfileDegree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering disciplineProven experience in a production/manufacturing engineering roleStrong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approachExperience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesGood communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyWhats on OfferCompetitive salary of 40,000 45,0004.5% employer pension contribution4.5-day working week25 days holiday plus bank holidays
