The current opportunity is for a IT Support Apprentice, responsible for supporting IT systems and delivering excellent technical assistance across the business. This role offers an exciting chance for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and being part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. In this role, youll work towards yourLevel 3 IT Support Apprenticeship,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Follow IT security policies to ensure compliance with data protection and industry standards. Manage access controls, user permissions, and patching to keep systems secure and up to date. Use RMM tools to monitor, detect, and resolve technical issues. Log and track incidents via ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, Zendesk). Document fixes, procedures, and updates in knowledge bases (Confluence, SharePoint, wikis). Communicate with colleagues and users via collaboration tools (Teams, Slack, email, phone). Provide timely support for service requests, both remotely and in person. Install and update drivers, firmware, operating systems, and applications. Configure software and apply upgrades to meet business needs and maintain performance. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: 16,000 - 18,000 per annum Monday to Friday 8am 4pm 28 days holidays plus bank holidays Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role Confident person Good time keeper Keen to progress in a career in IT Willingness to learn Your Training with Baltic: This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
