Gas SupervisorAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.35 hours per weekManchester2 months+31.50 Umbrella OR 23.80 PAYE + holidayHamilton Woods Associates are working with a Social Housing provider that is looking for a Gas Supervisor to oversee gas compliance for servicing and breakdowns, and ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.A van and fuel card is provided.Responsibilities of the Gas Supervisor:Supported a team of 12 gas engineers (servicing and breakdown)Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor for the organisation's Gas Safe registrationEnsuring all gas works are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety RegulationsApproving certificatesCarrying out technical audits and post-inspections of engineers' workInvestigating technical failures, incidents and non-compliance issueProviding technical guidance and support to gas engineersEnsuring engineers are working within their scope of competence and hold up to-date ACS qualificationMaintaining accurate compliance records and documentationSupporting the development and review of gas safety policies and proceduresWorking closely with Compliance and Property Services teams to ensure statutory targets are metReporting on gas xjdpvnf compliance performance to senior managementEssential criteria of the Gas Supervisor:Current ACS gas qualifications (relevant domestic competencies)Previous experience working within social housing or a landlord compliance environmentStrong knowledge of gas safety legislation and compliance requirementsExperience carrying out technical audits and inspectionsFull UK driving licence
