Key Responsibilities of an EstimatorProduce standard day to day quotes for minor repair and remedial works.Producing accurate, competitive & cost-effective estimates that include labour, materials & equipment required for projects.Produce remedial costings following review of CCTV surveys.Liaising with outside suppliers & subcontractors on technical data & prices.Assessment of specifications & working out relevant information & determine project scope.Monitor changes to project scope & adjust estimates accordingly.Use of estimating software toolsWork with suppliers to gain cost effective materials, plant and equipment required for proposals.
