Designer Luxury MenswearIn order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.Salary: Up to 36,000Location: BoltonWorking pattern: Hybrid 4 days in 1 WFHWe're working with an exciting luxury fashion brand to find a talented and commercially minded Designer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in jersey wear, technical design skills, and a passion for high-quality, future-thinking menswear.This position will sit within the main category, working on core and legacy products that define the brand's identity. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver end-to-end product design: from concept through to tech pack creation, supporting development and productionInterpret briefs with a strong understanding of brand DNA, market relevance, and commercial viabilityProduce high-quality CADs, Illustrator sketches, and tech packs for sampling and factory productionCollaborate with the Head of DNA and Senior Designer to evolve existing products and develop new conceptsConduct trend, fabric, and competitor research through travel, trade fairs, and digital resourcesSupport in fabric, trim, and logo development with a focus on sustainable sourcing where possibleAssist in fit sessions, garment reviews, and proto development alongside technical and product teamsMaintain and update styles using PLM systemsTravel as required for research or development (domestic and overseas)Contribute confidently in design direction meetings and work cross-functionally with graphics, product, and development teamsKey Skills & Experience23 years' experience in a design role, ideally within luxury or premium menswearStrong knowledge of jersey wear, garment construction, and product development processesExcellent technical design skills including Adobe Illustrator, CAD drawing, and tech pack creationConfident interpreting and executing design briefs aligned to brand visionDemonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlinesHigh taste level with a strong eye for detail and storytellingExperience working with PLM systems (desirable)Familiarity with CLO3D or other 3D design tools (preferred but not essential)A varied design background beyond just sportswearPassion for sustainability and progressive design thinkingWhat We're Looking ForStrong commercial awareness with a luxury mindsetA self-starter who can take ownership of their work and contribute to team successSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environmentA collaborative team player who's also happy to lead when neededFlexibility to travel for factory visits, research trips and development meetingsBenefits36,000 salary (DOE)25 days' annual leaveCompany bonus schemeThe opportunity to contribute to an iconic British fashion brand at a pivotal growth stageStaff discount1,000 annual company gift cardAs an industry leading, nationwide Marketing, Digital, Analytics, IT and Design recruitment agency, we are continually receiving new assignments to work on, so keep a close eye on our website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pages for a full list of current permanent and interim opportunities as well as marketplace news and fun stuff.Forward Role is operating as an employment agency.TPBN1_UKTJ
