Semi-Skilled Fitter

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Semi-Skilled Fitters to join a busy assembly team. Although demand is currently steady, this is a great opportunity to register your interest ahead of upcoming vacancies. Shift Pattern (38 hours per week): Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 4:30pm Duties include: Assembly and Fitting Assembling and fitting components to a high standard Using hand and pneumatic tools to complete builds Following technical drawings and work instructions Production and Quality Ensuring all builds meet required specifications and standards Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process Preparing finished units for inspection Materials and Equipment Handling components and ensuring correct parts are used Reporting any shortages or issues to supervisors Health, Safety and Housekeeping Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following all health and safety procedures Wearing appropriate PPE at all times Candidate Requirements Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to read and follow technical drawings Good attention to detail and team-working skills Pay Rate 12.21 per hour rising to 12.71 per hour from April This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with future vacancies expected soon.
