What youll do Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community Why join us This is more than a job, its a place where you feel valued. You have Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it) Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach The ability to work as part of a dynamic experienced team, have a great sense of humour and have the ability to deliver support in a fast paced service. The practical bits Working days to be discussed at interview (3 days of 7.5 hrs per day) to usually be worked Monday to Fri between 9am and 5pm. We sometimes ask for flexibility regarding weekend or evening working to meet the needs of the customers. Your base will be in Bodmin (at our St Nicholas House Service), you will work from here and the surrounding areas, with some admin time based in service. Although youll lone work, we do get together regularly for assessments, training and team meetings.
