Making PossibleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with Company policy.Understand and ensure compliance with Company Procedures and PoliciesMaintain effective communications with all disciplines within the Alliance and the BAM business.Supervise and mentor junior staff members within commercial structure.Subcontract Procurement produce subcontract enquiry documentation, issue tender enquiries, analyse tenders and compile subcontract order documents for executionCommercial management of subcontractors including timely processing of payments, obtaining final account agreements, and resolving issues by negotiation, when appropriateAssist with the production of monthly / quarterly cost reports including CVRs, forecasts and cash flow forecasts and supporting the application for payment processIdentify change, evaluate including measurement and cost to support budget management processWhat do you bring to the role?The following are necessary requirementsPrevious experience on civil engineering schemesFormal relevant qualificationsGood communication skillsGood IT skillsCollaborative behaviourExperience of ICC / NEC forms of ContractDesirable requirements:Experience of target price contractsExperience of working on an alliance or joint venturesExperience in railMentoring experienceHold or working towards professional accreditation with CICES or RICSWhats in it for you?Competitive salaryA wide range of family-friendly policiesCompany car/car allowance/travel allowance8 % matched pension contributionsPrivate healthcareLife assurance26 days holiday2 wellbeing days1 volunteering dayPersonal and professional developmentAbout BAMBuilding a sustainable tomorrow.
