Category Manager

Job DescriptionAs a Category Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing global procurement strategies that align with Sensients long-term business objectives. You will oversee carrier management, maintain category spend for all transportation modes and warehouse services for the Flavors and Colors Groups across UK, EU, Africa and Middle East Market.nWhat youll do:nn Research and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness through the sourcing processn Manage procurement of transport and warehouse services, oversee contracts with SLAs, maintain supplier KPIsn Conduct and manage procurement process, including sourcing, RFP bid packages, and awarding businessn Research market trends to stay updated with industry regulations and participate actively in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to streamline the purchasing processn Work closely with logistics, operations, supply chain, finance to define service needs and ensure carrier compliance and invoice audit accuracyn Conduct quarterly carrier reviews, participate in cost negotiations, and provide monthly dashboards and BInnWhat youll bring:nn Bachelors degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or CSPM or CPM n Proficiency in MS Office and related TMS Transportation softwaren A strong background in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations and experience with importation and exportation throughout the global market including IncoTermsn Willingness to traveln Excellent communication and negotiation skillsnnWhat youll get:nn Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per week in Milton Keynes, UKn An excellent salary and benefit offeringn A thorough and effective training experiencennnAbout Sensient:nSensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts.
