Additionally, BLOCK is committed to social responsibility, actively supporting local and global charitable initiatives.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Blantyre. The Architect will be responsible for designing and developing architectural plans, managing project workflows, and integrating functional design solutions. The role also involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental requirements.QualificationsProficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong understanding of building regulations and design principles.Experience in Project Management, including the ability to oversee schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.Knowledge of Software Development and Integration relevant to architectural design and project workflows (e.g., CAD software, BIM tools).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors.Degree in Architecture or a related field; professional accreditation or registration is highly desirable.Experience with sustainable design practices and familiarity with building performance assessment tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
