Warehouse Operative and Relief Driver

Warehouse Operative (Cold Store) & Relief Delivery Driver - Permanent Position Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm (including Bank Holidays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Occasional early starts (from 7:00am) may be required when covering delivery routes. 12.70 per hour About the Role: We're looking for a dependable and flexible individual to join our client's small, friendly team. As a Warehouse Operative youll work in a temperature-controlled environment at -20C (full protective clothing provided), picking and preparing frozen orders. Youll also act as a Relief Delivery Driver , stepping in to cover deliveries during staff absences. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that requires a strong team ethic and a willingness to support colleagues across different areas of the business. What You'll Be Doing: Picking and preparing customer orders in our coldstore Providing excellent customer service during deliveries Safely and lawfully driving company vehicles Using our delivery driver mobile app and route tools (e.g., Google Maps, what3words) Carrying out pre-delivery vehicle inspections when required Supporting other departments as needed Respecting and maintaining customer confidentiality What Were Looking For: Full, clean UK manual driving licence Previous customer service experience Confidence using basic technology and mobile apps Strong communication skills Ability to adapt to changing tasks and schedules Warehouse experience is a plus but not essential Evidence of work reliability and stability Personal Qualities: Friendly and approachable Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping Passionate about delivering exceptional service Team-oriented with a positive attitude Additional Information: All applications will be processed through a recruitment agency Pre-employment checks are required, including a DBS and Driving Licence check For further info please apply now or reach us on 01258 458 695 TPBN1_UKTJ
