This role is crucial in promoting positive relationships and ensuring every child has the best possible chance to succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesWork as a key point of contact for families, providing a confidential and supportive service.Address barriers to learning by offering practical advice and support on matters likeattendance , behaviour, and social-emotional needs.Serve as aFamily Liaison Officer , connecting parents with a wide range of local services andmulti-agencypartners in theBlackpoolcommunity.Contribute to the school'ssafeguardingand child protection procedures, acting as a crucial first point of contact for concerns.Conduct home visits and meetings, fostering strongparental engagementto build an effective home-school partnership.Organise and facilitate workshops or information sessions for parents on relevant topics.About YouThe successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges facing families in asecondary schoolsetting. You will be a skilled communicator with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach.
