The organisation prides itself on fostering an inclusive environment where both the people being supported and staff can thrive.We are seeking a skilled Support Team Leader to join their team and services in Blackpool.The RoleLead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities focusing on outcomes and person centred approach. Develop and implement person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Conduct regular team meetings and supervisions to promote team cohesion and professional development. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services, making adjustments as necessary. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Act as a point of contact for the individuals being supported and their families. Support the recruitment, training, and induction of new staff members. Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the team and the wider organisation.Ideal CandidateIdeally you will be a strong leader of people, and with experience of leading teams within Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities. Relevant qualifications in Health and Social care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships. Strong organisational and time management skills.
