At IMI, youll find a supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment where you can truly thrive.Role OverviewIMI Heatmiser, part of IMI Climate Control has an opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and skilled Key Account Manager to join our team, focussed on accounts and projects in the South of the UK.Operating remotely and reporting to the Head or Residential Sales, UK & Ireland, the Key Account Manager will support and service the large customer base across the South of the UK.Working closely with the IMI Residential Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager will ensure regular touchpoints with key customers to ensure service levels are maintained while driving synergies across both brands (IMI Heatmiser and IMI Climate).This role will suit an individual with excellent people skills, a sound technical level and an understanding of the UK controls market, specifically in the Underfloor Heating and Renewables Sector. Responsible for growing existing accounts and developing new business the Key Account Manager will be a team player who thrives on delivering exceptional service to customers while hitting sales targets and profitability KPIs.As an employee of IMI Heatmiser you will be responsible for working in line with the IMI values as well as adhering to local HSE and Quality policies to ensure we maintain the highest standards at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesDuties will include but not limited to: Lead Generation and Management: Proactively identify and nurture potential customers through various channels, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions to meet their needs; focussing on sectors such as such as Underfloor Heating & Cooling, Heat Pumps, Home Energy Management and general heating systems. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, focusing on the residential and light commercial markets. Quoting and Proposals: Prepare accurate and compelling quotes and proposals, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as internal sales, technical, R&D and production teams to ensure a premium service offer to the customer base. Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, government incentives, and emerging technologies to provide informed advice to clients. Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns and objections effectively, ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives. Product training: Deliver training to customers throughout the value chain, ranging from Consultants and Architects through to installers.Critical Competencies for Succes Degree qualified in a relevant field such as HR, psychology, business administration or similar; HR qualifications or certifications a plus (e.g. CIPD in the UK) Strong UK employment law knowledge Proven track record of experience and success in an HR Manager role in a multinational environment Experience in providing business partnering support across different countries, functions and levels with a good understanding of the legal, cultural and business dynamics for each location Strong understanding of organisational psychology, change management and talent development Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence key decision makers; proficiency in another language is a plus Ability to lead and manage employees, both direct and indirect reporting lines Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions based on datasets within HRIS, Excel or similar Project management and organisational skills with attention to detail Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality Willingness to travel to our Heatmiser UK site in Blackburn at minimum 2 days per week; occasional travel to our European Sales offices as/when required.Health & SafetyThe physical demands described within the Key Duties & Responsibilities section of this job description are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
