Head of Finance

Succession Partners are currently working with a profitable and growing business that are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to work with an ambitious Management team. Supporting the MD the Head of Finance will be responsible for managing the day to day finance and accounting operations across the business. Responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting – overall responsibility to produce and review accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Financial Processes and controls – take a hands on approach to maintain appropriate financial systems, internal controls, and processes. KPIs – delivery of the most appropriate KPIs within the management reporting to assist with performance measurement and decision making. Budgets and forecasting – delivery and management of robust budgets and forecasts collaborated with operational colleagues. Leadership – leadership is crucial part of the role, responsible for the management, performance and continued development of the team. Cash flow & working capital – detailed focus on cash flow forecasting, working capital levels and managing a strong credit control function. Statutory – ensuring that the company is compliant with all statutory tax and other fiscal filings. Internal collaboration – as a member of the senior management team, support heads of other departments to ensure the appropriate level of performance review and financial knowledge is delivered across the business. Senior Management – liaise and support the MD and SLT on ad hoc project work or analysis. Key skills Recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA). Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. Strong business systems skills to create meaningful KPI measurement reports, especially Excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
