Clients are in the public and private sectors, with a diverse portfolio ranging from large-scale multi-million sites through to complex occupied sites and smaller local works. Projects typically include education, healthcare, leisure, residential, commercial, and special works. The Role: They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for a wide variety of building projects. Key Responsibilities: Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Prepare and submit tender documents in line with deadlines. Attend tender reviews and client meetings as required. Assist in value engineering and cost planning throughout the tender process. Maintain a database of pricing information and supplier contacts. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment. Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
