We offer 40-hour and 26-hour per week options to fit your needs.Salary:between 39,788.90 and 43,473.06pa DOE (based on 45hpw)Are you a skilled technician with a passion for vehicle maintenance and a commitment to high standards?Were looking for a proactive and detail-orientedHGV Technicianto join our Aftermarket team!This hands-onHGV Technician / HGV Mechanic role involves maintaining and repairing refuse collection vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction every step of the way.HGV Technician / HGV MechanicKey Responsibilities:Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chassis and mounted equipmentService vehicles to VOSA standards and prepare them for MOT inspectionsComplete body and chassis repairs and ensure compliance with Department of Transport specificationsMaintain accurate records and enter job details into company systemsLiaise professionally with customers and work independently at customer sitesEnsure all work is completed efficiently and to company standardsFollow health and safety procedures and conduct risk assessments where requiredUndertake training to enhance technical skills and knowledgeHGV Technician / HGV MechanicIdeal Candidate:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and MaintenanceProven experience in commercial vehicle repair and servicingStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsUnderstanding of electronics, hydraulics, and wiring diagramsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyWillingness to travel and work flexible hours, including overtimeExperience with electric vehicles, IRTEC qualification, or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonusIf youre ready to take your technical skills to the next level as aHGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, wed love to hear from you!We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
