With years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we partner with top automotive manufacturers to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.We are currently looking for a Quality Technician to support a project at one of our automotive customer sites based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.Working as part of the established quality team, you will ensure defined quality standards are achieved, maintained, and improved.You will perform inspection of components and materials at Goods-in to defined quality standards and record details into the ERP system.ResponsibilitiesCarry out patrol and final inspection of machine shop components Perform inspection of in-house manufactured parts and finished products as required Maintain 5S standards of order and cleanliness within goods receipt and inspection areas Carry out final paperwork checks on finished products RequirementsPrevious experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment in an inspection, quality, or production role Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to interpret engineering drawings Experience using a variety of measurement equipment; experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is advantageous Please Note:All candidates must possess valid right to work in the UK without restrictions and must undergo a standard criminal record check (DBS).
