The ideal candidate will lead in meal preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth culinary experience for our residents.Responsibilities:Preparing and cooking meals for catering eventsHelp with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredientsSetting up and organizing the kitchen for cookingFollow recipes and instructions provided by the head cookMonitor food temperatures to ensure safety and qualityClean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment after each useAssist in storing food properly to maintain freshnessManage the team and complete staff supervisions and appraisalsPrepare rotas & order stock/ingredientsComplete audits and ensure the kitchen is legally compliantAbout you:Experience:Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is requiredBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyExcellent communication xjdpvnf skills and ability to work well within a teamIDDSI experience is preferredIf you are a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and a love for cooking, we would love to hear from you.Benefits:Company pensionHealth & wellbeing programmeOn-site parkingReferral programmePlease click the APPLY button to send a CV and Covering letter for this role.Candidates with previous experience and job titles of; Head Chef, Food Catering, Chef, Head Cook, Kitchen Lead, Food Hygiene, Food Health and Safety may also be considered for this role
