Job Title: SOC Technical Security Service Delivery ManagerLocation: Hybrid (Birmingham-based)Employment Type: Full-timeClearance: Must hold or be eligible for UK SC ClearanceSalary: £75,000 - £85,000+ BenefitsAbout the RoleOur client — a leading global technology consultancy and one of the world’s largest cybersecurity services providers — is seeking a SOC Technical Security Service Delivery Manager to support their growing Security Operations Centre (SOC) business.This is a strategic and hands-on role where you'll be the key bridge between clients and operational teams, ensuring smooth delivery of security services, incident response coordination, and ongoing vulnerability management.If you’ve got a deep background in cybersecurity operations, excel under pressure, and know how to guide both clients and internal teams, this could be your next big step.What You’ll Be DoingActing as the primary point of contact for clients on SOC service matters, including escalations and incident updatesLeading major incident coordination, including investigation, containment, and remediation activitiesManaging client-facing service reviews (weekly/monthly), presenting clear reports and insightsSupporting internal delivery teams to ensure SLAs are met and quality standards maintainedOverseeing vulnerability scanning and prioritisation, and guiding clients on remediationSupporting and managing IDS/IPS configuration and updatesDriving continuous improvement across service delivery processesWhat We’re Looking For10+ years in Security Operations or SOC-related service deliveryStrong technical understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, IDS/IPSProven experience handling client relationships, stakeholder management, and crisis situationsExcellent communication skills — both technical and non-technicalExperience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environmentsRelevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, GCIH, CICM)UK SC clearance or eligibility to obtain itNote: Any applicant must hold or be eligible for UK SC ClearanceWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to work with some of the most recognised security technology providers globallyHybrid working with a strong emphasis on flexibility and work-life balanceCareer progression within a rapidly expanding security practiceComprehensive benefits including private healthcare, pension, and tailored L&D opportunitiesInclusive workplace with active diversity networks and well-being supportReady to take ownership of critical security service delivery for enterprise clients?
