ROLE – Steel Detailer (Tekla)SALARY – £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)TYPE – PermanentLOCATION – West Midlands My client provides bespoke metalwork for manufacture and installation. They are looking for a Steel Detailer with experience using Tekla Structures to join their team in the West Midlands area on a permanent basis.The Steel Detailer will ideally have the following attributes:Proficient in using Tekla Structures/StruCAD for detailing steelwork3 or more years’ experience in a similar steel detailing role, ideally within architectural or structural metalworkStrong understanding of architectural and structural steelwork, including connections and fabrication requirementsHNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related disciplineAbility to read and interpret structural and architectural drawingsExperience producing detailed fabrication and GA drawings for workshop useGood understanding of steel fabrication and erection processesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in drawingsExcellent communication skills for coordination with design, production, and site teamsAbility to work under pressure and manage workloads to meet deadlinesThe Steel Detailer role will involve:Producing high-quality fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures/StruCADCreating accurate 3D models of steel structures based on architectural and structural inputGenerating GA, assembly, and part drawings for fabrication and site installationProducing and maintaining accurate BOMs and CNC data for manufactureCoordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design issuesEnsuring drawings meet client specifications and comply with relevant standardsSupporting the design and production teams with technical information and guidanceMaintaining drawing revisions and documentation in line with project requirementsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.For more information about this role please apply, or email Cameron Fotheringham on cfotheringham@ who will be able to provide more details on the opportunity.Many thanks, Premier Group
