Site Construction ManagerAs a Site Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing construction activities across multiple sites, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and maintain operational excellenceThe company operates within the power generation and industrial engineering sectors, delivering innovative and reliable solutions to clients worldwide. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and technical excellence, they are committed to delivering high-quality engineering projects from concept through to completion.This role will be required to be present on site and this will take up about 50% of your works so very regularly travelling and this could be anywhere across the UK. When not on site you are free to work fully remotely. Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage site operations to ensure successful project deliveryCoordinate daily construction activities in line with project schedules and budgetsConduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015Oversee installation, retrofitting, and refurbishment of specialist mechanical equipmentLead and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely deliveryMonitor material quality and implement inspection proceduresMaintain all safety documentation and perform regular site inspectionsAct as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teamsProactively identify and address risks or challengesManage site budgets, allocate resources, and ensure contractual compliance.Maintain accurate records including safety audits, incident reports, and project progressEducation & Experience:Minimum 5 years’ experience in site construction management within power generation, industrial, or related sectorsHNC/D in Engineering, Project Management, or OperationsStrong knowledge of NEC3 & NEC4 construction contracts and CDM regulationsProficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (Epicor preferred)Solid understanding of engineering principles, fabrication techniques, and technical drawingsTechnical Skills & Attributes:Expertise in construction management processes and industry regulationsAbility to assess site constraints and create effective execution plansStrong grasp of risk assessment and safety proceduresExcellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesEffective communicator and negotiator, capable of managing diverse stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable to dynamic site environmentsWillingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods
