Job Opportunity: Employee Relations Case ManagerLocation: Birmingham or BristolCatalyst Partners are working with a multinational, matrix organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience across multiple business units and geographies.The RoleAs an Employee Relations Case Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. You’ll partner with HR teams, line managers, and legal advisors to support a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.Provide expert guidance to managers and HR colleagues on ER policies, procedures, and employment law.Ensure consistency in ER case handling across a matrix structure.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and ensure policy alignment.Identify ER trends and contribute to proactive people strategies.Support the development of ER capability across the business through coaching and training.Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in line with GDPR and internal standards.What We’re Looking ForStrong experience in an ER advisory or case management role, ideally within a matrix or multi-site organisation.In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
