Compensation & Benefits Specialist3 Month Day Rate ContractImmediate startLocation: Office-based in Wednesbury, West Midlands (minimum 2 days per week)We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our HR team and lead the review and implementation of a Hay-grade based pay and grading structure as well as fully review and shape our comp and bens across the business.You will play a key role in ensuring our reward frameworks are competitive, fair, and aligned to business goals. Experience working with both blue- and white-collar staff populations is essential, as you will design and deliver solutions that meet the needs of a diverse workforce.Key responsibilities: • Review, design and implement a Hay-grade based pay and grading structure. • Provide expert advice on reward, benefits, and job evaluation across all levels of the organisation. • Benchmark pay and benefits to market and recommend improvements. • Support HR colleagues and managers in understanding and applying grading outcomes.What we’re looking for: • Proven experience in compensation & benefits, including Hay job evaluation methodology. • Strong understanding of reward issues for both operational/blue-collar and professional/white-collar staff. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work from the Wednesbury office at least 2 days per week.If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can make a real impact, I would love to hear from you.
