PermanentGrade C - £35,412 - £44,075Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity ReviewWorking 36.5 hours per weekAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified Social Worker to join the Specialist Mental Health Team.Working within the Specialist Mental Health TeamKey ResponsibilitiesYou will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholdersYou will be required to carry out assessments under The Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Section 42 EnquiriesWork closely in partnership with the NHS to consider citizen's Section 117 aftercare needs under The Mental Health Act 1983You will be responsible for completing support plans and presenting funding applications to the budget holdersYou will also be required to complete social circumstances reports for the Mental Health Review Tribunal in the case of psychiatric inpatientsEssential Skills/knowledgeThe successful applicant will require a sound knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks, such as The Care Act 2014, The Mental Health Act 1983 and The Mental Capacity Act 2005 High quality inter-personal and communication skillsYou will carry a caseload and will require the resilience to deliver a high quality service under pressure within required timeframesThe ideal candidate should hold a Social Work qualification and must be registered with Social Work EnglandFor any informal enquires please contact: upload an up-to-date CV and Personal Statement via the attachments part of your application.
