You will provide training and supervision to students, less experienced colleagues, and customers in all aspects of the service.Key Responsibilities:Treating a complex range of patients, using the latest technology including CAD CAM.Assessing, casting/scanning, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses across lower limb amputation levels. Managing your patient’s case, ensuring needs are respected and the patient is informed throughout the process.Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and records Making a proactive contribution to the Service Contract and Company as a whole What are we looking for? As Orthotist you will have the following. Essential skills and experience Qualified in Prosthetics and OrthoticsHCPC registrationMember of BAPO/ISPO (desirable)Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwearAble to prioritise and manage your own workload and that of othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with colleagues at all levelsBe able to manage difficult, challenging and sensitive situationsGood judgment and decision-making skills
