As a BI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving strategic data initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across the business, and delivering insights that support critical decision making.You won’t just be building reports you’ll be shaping data solutions that are innovative, scalable, and accessible across platforms, ensuring the business remains ahead in an increasingly data driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end Power BI dashboards and data solutions within Azure CloudCollaborate closely with data stakeholders and technical teams to bring BI products to lifeTranslate business requirements into effective technical solutions, using Agile methodologiesBuild and maintain scalable data models and robust data architectureLeverage the data warehouse to support self-service analytics and informed decision-makingEnsure strong data governance, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR)Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to a culture of data excellenceContinuously seek opportunities to improve data reliability, automation, and reusabilityExperience & Skills Required:Proficiency in the Azure data stack, including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL is essentialProven experience with Power BI and a keen eye for effective, user-friendly data visualisationStrong background in data warehouse design (preferably Kimball methodology; fact/dimension tables)Experience working in Agile environments; exposure to DevOps is a plusBonus: Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Tableau or QlikExcellent attention to detail and a strong analytical mindsetDegree or equivalent professional experiencePlease note sponsorship is not available now or in the future.If you have strong data warehousing experience and looking for a collaborative environment to continue your development, this could be the role for you.
