Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution, Legal 500 Location: BirminghamContract: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: £65,000+Are you an experienced litigator looking for your next career-defining move?We are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor (6 years’ PQE) to join our highly regarded Dispute Resolution team as a Commercial Litigator. This is a rare opportunity to play a senior role within a Legal 500 recognised practice, working alongside some of the leading names in litigation.My client is a forward-thinking, collaborative and ambitious firm, offering you the platform to take ownership of complex, high-value work, build your profile in the market, and contribute to the growth of a thriving department.About the RoleAs a Litigation Associate, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dealing with a wide spectrum of disputes, many of which are high-profile, complex and strategically important to our clients.You’ll handle your own caseload and support on larger matters, giving you exposure to a variety of contentious work, including:Complex shareholder, director and partnership disputes often involving multi-party and cross-border elementsInjunctive relief applications where urgent, high-stakes action is requiredProfessional negligence claims, acting for both claimants and defendantsCommercial and contractual disputes, often involving substantial sums and strategic implications for clientsBeyond casework, you’ll have the opportunity to:Play an active role in business development and networking to grow your practice and client baseDevelop your leadership skills by supervising and mentoring junior team membersGain exposure to high-quality clients across a wide range of industries including professional services, construction, manufacturing, tech and beyondContribute to thought leadership through articles, seminars and events, strengthening both your personal profile and that of the firmAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but also driven, commercially astute and client-focused.Ideally you will have:6 years’ PQE in litigation (although we welcome applications outside this range if you can demonstrate relevant experience)A strong track record in managing and resolving complex disputes.Proven ability to provide strategic advice and handle matters of significant value and importance.Excellent leadership skills with experience of supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.Strong communication and client care skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build lasting relationships.A proactive approach to business development, with the drive to grow your practice and contribute to the firm’s success.You will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values innovation, and wants to be part of a firm where your expertise and leadership will be truly recognised.What We OfferWe know that attracting and retaining top talent requires more than just interesting work.
