We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a well-established and rapidly growing M&E contractor based in Birmingham.About the Role:As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of electrical installation projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.Key Responsibilities:Analyse tender documents and drawings to prepare detailed electrical cost estimatesWork closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirementsPrepare bills of quantities, take-offs, and pricing schedulesLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead timesContribute to value engineering and project planning during pre-constructionSupport in handover to project delivery teams upon successful awardRequirements:Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction or M&E industryStrong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and installation practicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent IT skills experience using estimating software such as Trimble, Amtech, or similarStrong attention to detail and commercial awarenessFull UK driving licenceBenefits:Competitive salary packageCompany car or car allowanceAnnual performance bonusPension scheme and holiday allowanceClear progression opportunities within a supportive teamHybrid/flexible working available for the right candidate
