Job Description Salary: 40,000 + Monthly Commission + Annual Bonus + Car Scheme/Allowance + BenefitsIndustry: Industrial Automation & Control DistributionA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Account Manager to join one of the UKs leading distributors of industrial automation and control products. This organisation is part of a global group with a strong longterm vision, a peoplefirst culture, and a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement.About the RoleCovering the Coventry and Birmingham region, you will manage and develop an established territory with around 70 active accounts, generating approximately 2M in annual spend. Youll work with customers ranging from SMEs to major bluechip organisations, positioning technically beneficial and commercially attractive automation and control solutions.This is a homebased role with customer visits expected around four days per week, supported by a highly capable internal sales team and industryleading product specialists.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow an existing customer base across your territoryIdentify new business opportunities through networking, lead followup, and market awarenessPosition automation, control, safety, and electrical solutions that add real value to customersDevelop longterm relationships with stakeholders at all levelsCoordinate internal and external resources to deliver excellent customer serviceWork towards ambitious sales targets with autonomy and accountabilityAct as a trusted advisor, demonstrating integrity and professionalismWhat Youll BringProven experience in new business development and account managementStrong relationshipbuilding skills and confidence in customerfacing environmentsTenacity, resilience, and a genuine will to succeedAbility to work independently and manage your own territoryGood organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectivelyCuriosity and an interest in understanding how things workAbility to identify customer needs and match them with the right solutionsGCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and EnglishKnowledge of automation, control, or technical products is advantageous full training providedWCL ID: 7662
