**Regional Specification Director – West UK – Global Construction Company**We are currently recruiting for a market leading construction company which are known for the quality of their products. This is a commercial role managing a specification team across the West of the UK.Role:Team Development and Team Leadership - lead, motive and develop the sales team to ensure each individual maximises their potential and achieve business objectives.Clear management of team and individual KPIs.Product & Service Development - Drives the development of the technical sales proposition of new and existing productsForecasting - Facilitate the exchange of information between customers, specification teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained.Market Management - Coordinate the development of account plans in line with the sales/technical strategy, including the negotiation of trading termsCandidate:The ideal candidate will -Proven experience managing a specification team or strong management characteristicsMUST have experience within the construction/building materials industryProven experience of working with cross functional teamsExcellent communications skillsProblem solvingAbility to deliver under pressure or in uncertain environmentAbility to build strong relationshipsPackage:Basic Salary - negotiable based on experience (around £72k+)BonusCar AllowanceCompany credit cardPrivate pension schemePrivate healthcareLife assuranceEmployee assistance program
