So when we say were excited for what the future holds for our customers and colleagues, you can trust were as good as our word.nInstore, part of Smiths News is recruiting a Field Sales Representative to drive new retail distribution points by selling our clients products within the Independent Retail Sector (Convenience, CTN. Grocery etc.). If you have experience in field sales and can demonstrate your ability, you could be a potential candidate to join our field sales team with Instore on behalf of our Global Client.nOur client is instantly recognisable household brand, they supply most supermarkets, high streets, garden centres and retailers as well as having a strong e-commerce offering.nTheir product offerings and displays are a perfect fit for the independent market - offering high-quality product at various price points to reflect that of the consumer. With various display options, seasonal ranges and attractive margins coupled with ongoing support for retailers to benefit from their widely engaging marketing strategy. Our client has partnered with Instore, to provide its field sales function.nThis role will involve full territory management across a designated territory and will involve visiting retailers to the sell this new service offer. You will be the key person between the brand and the Instore/Smiths News and expected to communicate the two effectively and efficiently.nMain Duties and Areas of Responsibility:nnDrive sales & distribution targets to agreed KPIs across a variety of accounts engaging business owners to complete the sales.nDevelop strong customer relationships within your sales territory and identify and unlock incremental distribution opportunities.nEntrepreneurial in approach.nSeek to uncover Key Accounts with Bulk Distribution Opportunity (Mini Multiples / Others).nMaximize brand presence within the trade in your sales territory.nEnsure all relevant calls are completed within territory plan on a day-to-day basis.nDevelop a high performing field mentality to deliver on all KPIs.nUse effective communication to share best practice with colleagues, keep Line Manager informed of all requirements and to drive excellent education and engagement levels with all customers.nEscalate issues and find resolutions before problems arise where possible.nMaintain an expert understanding of clients business and products to aid successful selling.nExecute to a high standard at all times.nOffer, without being asked, quality and concise feedback to line manager that helps to drive forward the clients business and Retail growth strategy.nCompleting all administration tasks to ensure time requirements are met and that work is of a high standard.nFully understand the clients Retail landscape to allow for competitor advantage and seasonal opportunities to be delivered.nUnderstand how the Smiths News delivery network operates and use tools to ensure customers can order products ongoing.nnTo be successful in this role you ideally have:nnExcellent communication & presentation skills.nPrevious experience within a relevant sales or retail environment, ideally within FMCG / consumer goods.nBrand Ambassador Experience would also be considered.nStrong relationship building skills and previous experience in sales techniques.nExperience in remote field activity and delivery against sales targets and KPIs.nStrong organizational and planning skills.nDriven sales conversions through education.nGood analytical skills.nEvidence of success in sales.nAbility to influence and implement change.nAbility to document ideas and actions to drive performance from business plans.nnPlease note: you must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this position.nKey Competencies:nnEnergetic and enthusiastic about retail.nGood people skills.nEye for detail.nUnderstanding of the retail and wholesale landscape.nEntrepreneurial Spirit.nFlexibility, reliability & resilience.nStrong relationship building skills.nFull and clean driving license.nAble to multitask and meet tight deadlines.nnnA career with us is a career filled with people, pride, and passion.
