Job DescriptionJob Title: Commercial Property SolicitorLocation: BirminghamSalary: DOEJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Role:Our client, a well-established and growing law firm in Birmingham, is seeking a proactive and client-focused Commercial Property Solicitor to join their expanding Property team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of high-quality commercial property matters, working closely with developers, landlords, tenants, investors, and corporate clients across the West Midlands and beyond.Key Responsibilities:Manage a full caseload of commercial property transactions, including:Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold propertiesLandlord and tenant matters (granting, renewing, assigning, and terminating leases)Commercial refinancing and secured lendingDevelopment agreements and optionsLicences to assign, alter, or underletDraft and negotiate complex contracts, leases, and supporting documentationCarry out due diligence including title investigation, searches, and Land Registry applicationsProvide practical and commercially sound legal advice to clientsBuild and maintain strong client relationships and develop new business where possibleLiaise with agents, lenders, counsel, and other professionalsSupport senior fee earners or supervise junior staff, depending on experience.Candidate Requirements:Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (minimum 2 years PQE preferred)Strong technical knowledge of commercial property lawExcellent drafting and negotiation skillsCommercial awareness and strong client care ethosAbility to manage files with minimal supervisionComfortable working in a collaborative and busy team environmentExperience with case management systems and digital workflows is an advantage.What We OfferCompetitive salary (DOE) with regular reviewsHybrid/flexible working arrangementsOngoing training and professional developmentFriendly, inclusive working cultureInterested?If you think this is the role for you, please contact Gaby on 07748 846629 or email [email protected] for a confidential discussion.
