Base pay rangeAcorns Children's Hospice are looking for a Volunteer Management Officer to support the implementation of a new Volunteer Management System across the organisation. We need a passionate, organised, and tech-savvy individual tohelp launch and embed the system. This is a fixed term role until March 2026. About the Role We are a registered charity, based in the West Midlands and we care for life-limited or life-threatened babies, children and young people and support their families. As a charity, we have valued volunteers who donate their time at our hospices, shops, fundraising events and in the local community. As a Volunteer Management System Officer, you will: Support the procurement of a new Volunteer Management System (VMS) Assist the volunteering team to build and develop the system Develop a training plan for staff and volunteers to understand the system and get the best out of it and create training materials including session plans, user guides, video guides etc Deliver training on how to use the new VMS to teams across the organisation Monitor and evaluate user experiences of the system About You Experience of implementing systems Experience of developing and delivering training for a wide audience Understanding of the unique support needs of volunteers Ability to travel independently across the Acorns area What We Offer £30,000 to £35,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week Based in Birmingham (B47 6JR), with remote working and travel across the Acorns region Employee discounts from leading retailers Generous contribution to group personal pension plan or continuation of current NHS pension scheme NHS pension scheme life assurance or Acorns group life assurance scheme Interviews are scheduled to be held on 31 July You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
