Solicitor - Associate - Major Injury & Casualty

This role involves handling a range of insurance claims, both international and domestic. Our client list is prestigious and growing. We also advise prestigious corporate clients, either through insurance work or directly. We act for a large number of insurers, many of whom are household names, dealing with personal injury, Serious Injury complex, catastrophic and large loss claims and with a range of files including EL/PL matters. We offer a hybrid working pattern and are flexible on office attendance based on candidate location. ResponsibilitiesHandle a mixed caseload of defendant fast-tack and multi-track claims, including EL/PL, in addition to assisting senior team members on high-value complex cases. Advise clients, including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy. Draft documents, prepare for court, and engage in settlement negotiations. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery. Stay updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law. QualificationsWe are seeking applications from newly qualified to experienced Solicitors, preferably 1-3 years PQE. Demonstrable interest and prior experience in Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Personal Injury matters. Experience handling defendant personal injury cases, either independently or in a supporting role to senior team members. Previous experience within a defendant insurance law firm. Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively. A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail. DesirableExperience handling in your own right or through supporting more senior team members on high-value, complex personal injury cases.
