About The RoleThe roleWe are seeking to recruit a Site Set-Up Paralegal to work in our busy Birmingham team. The successful candidate will assist on the setup of both freehold and leasehold schemes, and support the plot team with enquiries and requisitions. This is an entry-level role, but provides an excellent opportunity to join an industry-leading team of senior, technical setup experts. The role will initially comprise a largely administrative workload, including:supporting the team with document amendments within our case management system; assisting with internal and client reporting requirements; attending and following up on action points from setup meetings; progressing a caseload of standard documents such as deeds of variation; assisting with the preparation of client engagement letters and invoices. For the right candidate, however, the role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the art of site-setup and to develop from the ground up; developing your technical acumen, and potentially, in time, progressing to take on your own setup caseload.The teamOur Housebuilding Team specialises in residential development - and nothing else. With over 230 specialists, we have the largest residential development team in the UK offering a complete acquisition to disposal service. The team acts for national and regional housebuilders, promoters and institutional landowners on new residential developments of up to 6,500 new homes.Each of our plot sales hubs in the South, the Midlands and the North on average handle approximately 4,000 plots sales per annum. Each Plot Sales Hub comprises four teams who work together to support plot sale transactions: site set up; plot sales; part exchange; and infrastructure.Within our hubs, our plot sales team has 135 experts who work exclusively for housebuilder clients on conveyancing work. Each conveyancer is focused on delivering a high level of service that place clients front and centre.
