Job Description Job title: HR Business PartnerLocation : BirminghamSalary: 50,000 to 60,000 per year depending on experienceAbout the CompanyOur client is a growing manufacturing business based in Birmingham near the B10 / B11 area. They are looking for a well rounded HR Business Partner to join the team and support continued growth across the organisation.Reporting to the HR Director, you will play an important role in supporting managers and employees across the business. You will work closely with managers and employees to ensure HR policies, employee relations matters, and internal processes operate effectively, compliantly, and efficiently.This role requires a proactive and organised HR professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities while working independently and supporting senior stakeholders across the business.The key requirement for this role is needing someone with strong strategic expertise and a strong OD & talent background. In addition to this, it would also help if you have reward and benefits exposure and HRIS implementation exposure too.Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding processes Provide guidance to managers on employment law, HR policies, performance management, and employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HR systems Support line managers with coaching, performance reviews, absence management, and employee development Support payroll processes or liaise with external payroll providers to ensure payroll is accurate and delivered on time Assist with training and development initiatives, employee engagement activities, and wellbeing programmes Support the development and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements including legal and health and safety obligations Produce HR reports and metrics including turnover, absence levels, and headcount analysis to support business decision makingWhat We Are Looking For Strong experience in a generalist HR role. Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but is not essential Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business CIPD qualification or currently working towards CIPD would be advantageous High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information Confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders where appropriate A proactive and solutions focused approach to workWhat You Will Receive A hands on HR role where you can make a real impact within the organisation The opportunity to influence HR processes and contribute to organisational growth Close collaboration with senior leadership and the wider HR teamIf you are an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a genuine difference within a growing organisation, we would welcome your application.
