Job Description: Senior PBS Practitioner Location: Flexible with travel across the UK Salary: 30,000 per annum + 5,000 car allowance Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Reports to: National PBS Lead Our client is seeking an experiencedSenior Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitionerto join their growing behaviour support team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how PBS is delivered across their services and to make a measurable difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities and/or autism, some of whom may present behaviours that challenge. About the Role As a Senior PBS Practitioner, you will: Conduct functional behavioural assessments and analyse data. Develop PBS strategies and support with implementation and problem solving. Work directly with individuals to understand their needs, reduce restrictions, and build on strengths while improving quality of life. Support individuals at various stages of their support journey from assessing and designing new services to reviewing and enhancing existing ones. Provide coaching, modelling, and feedback to support workers and managers. Deliver training, including Team Teach, to our support teams. Promote and monitor data collection to ensure evidence-based decision making. Champion a reflective, trauma-informed culture and person-centered practice. Collaborate closely with families, professionals, and multi-disciplinary teams, contributing reports and feedback. Maintain accurate records, clinical notes, and professional registration. You will also support the supervision and development of PBS Practitioners working towards their BTEC and UKSBA competencies. About You We are looking for someone who can bring both expertise and passion to this role. The ideal candidate will have: Essential Postgraduate qualification inApplied Behaviour AnalysisorPositive Behaviour Support(or be close to completion). Registration with theUK-SBA(or willingness to register). At least3 years experiencesupporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Experience delivering training and coaching to teams. Strong understanding of PBS frameworks, values, and relevant legislation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with others. Commitment to person-centred, rights-based, and co-produced support. A reflective, resilient, and compassionate approach, with flexibility and creativity in complex situations. Desirable Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing PBS plans to increase skills and reduce behaviours that challenge. BCBA or equivalent certification.
