Health & Safety Manager

The role will support Bidvest Noonan’s nationwide contracts. The position will be based from the London office and will involve travel. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for the Health & Safety management of the company’s activities on client sites. This includes developing and maintaining the Health & Safety programme for the contract, cross functional compliance and supporting the Noonan management team in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, promote and lead Health & Safety implementation plans in line with contractual requirementsManage legal obligations and client expectations in line with industry best practiceDrive both Noonan objectives and client expectations on-sitesOversee the development and continuous improvement of site-specific risk assessments and permit to work systems to meet regulatory and corporate requirementsDrive compliance and continuous improvement through auditing and staff trainingEngage with staff to ensure a culture of excellence is achieved and maintainedConduct, manage and review incident investigationsReview process and equipment changes to identify potential Health & Safety impactsReview and report on relevant contractual KPIsEngage with the clients to ensure key contractual requirements are fulfilledSkills/Knowledge RequiredPractical implementation of Risk Management SystemsFull clean driving licencePrimary Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health and SafetyDesired Professional Qualifications & TrainingSafe PassPSDPPSCSManual Handling TrainerOffice Ergonomics and VDU AssessorEnvironmental KnowledgeTrain the TrainerAuditorDesired Professional AffiliationsChartered membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) or working towards attaining this accreditationBidvest Noonan is a team of 27,000 passionate and customer-focused people.
