Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Coleshill Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract- 3 month probation Salary: 28,000 per annum Hours: Full time, 6AM-2PM About the Role We are seeking a proactive Quality Technician on behalf of our client in Coleshill. This position has been created due to increased workload and will play a key role in ensuring inspections, documentation, and compliance standards are met. You will be part of a team working to maintain high levels of quality, reduce delays, and support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections and measurements in line with engineering drawings. Use basic QA/QC tools and problem-solving techniques. Support non-conformance reporting, escalation, and closure. Maintain production and quality-related records accurately. Ensure strong standards of 5S are upheld in the work area. Escalate quality risks promptly and follow through on corrective actions. Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times. Carry out other duties as required. About You Experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally in cable management or modular frame assembly, but not essential). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Knowledge of basic engineering principles. Skilled in using callipers, gauges, and other measurement tools. Self-motivated, organised, and quality-focused.
