Maintenance Technician Birmingham / Salary: £30/35,000 / Permanent Contract

They specialize in the design of smart lockers (intelligent delivery lockers).We are looking for a Smart Lockers Maintenance Technician based in Birmingham.Sector: Mainly Brimingham but also regional (travel up to 200 km, with a maximum of 3 overnight stays per month).As a Smart Lockers Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing our intelligent delivery lockers.Your daily tasks:- Carry out mechanical and low-voltage electrical repairs on smart locker units on-site (using a car or van).- Troubleshoot issues and conduct functional testing on units.- Replace and test electronic components using technical documentation.- Document interventions and prepare detailed reports.- Travel to client sites based on SLAs for reactive maintenance and support.- Assist with new installations, locker deployment, cable routing, and inventory organization.- Follow safety protocols and complete regular technical training.Requirements- Must have valid work authorisation for the UK – sponsorship is not available.- Must hold a valid UK / EU driver’s licence.- Versatile skills in electricity and mechanics.- Experience in troubleshooting electromechanical systems.- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.- Knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS or MMS) is a plus.- Ability to write precise intervention reports.- A valid driver’s license is essential.- A technical diploma or certification in a related field is appreciated.Working conditions:- Permanent contract- Competitive salary up to £30/35,000 plus bonus.- A service vehicle is provided for professional use- Permanent contract with a scaling, international company.- Opportunity to join early and contribute to shaping UK operations.- Ongoing training and development.Ready to take on this challenge?
