Job DescriptionMaintenance SupervisorBirmingham60,000 - quarterly bonus4on/4off Days and NightsMy client have been successfully manufacturing for years in Birmingham and manufacturer specialist metals including Ingot, slab, coil, bar, sheet and more. They supply mainly into the Aerospace industry amongst other industrial sectors and are now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor Role:Responsibility for supporting the growth of the manufacturing operations across the factory managing a team of 9 engineers in total.You will be working in a heavy industry environment working on machinery such as foundry equipment, furnaces, large presses, vacuum systems and forge furnaces.Benefits for the maintenance Supervisor:OTE 65,000+ with bonus very stable industry - plant has been here for yearsOvertime paid at x1.75 on a Saturday and double time on a SundayInformal and formal training opportunitiesWorking amongst a team who have been there for years great staff retention33 days holiday Experience required for the maintenance Supervisor:5 years experience as a maintenance engineer from manufacturingIdeally level 3 and apprenticeship served but would also look at level 2 if experience is within a similar environmentat least 2-3 years of supervisor/team leader experienceexperience with Hydraulics is advantageous Experience as a supervisor from any manufacturing environment considered
