Field Service Engineer

Job Title Field Service Engineer Location West of England Industry Gas Engines and CHP Combined Heat and Power Package 40-45K plus overtime, company vehicle, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineer with a background in large engines(diesel or gas), Combined Heat and Power (CHP) to join a well-established and financially secure business. Due to growth and upcoming newly won contracts, the company is increasing head count within its service division. With good opportunities for career advancement this is not a chance to be missed. Role - Covering a medium sized patch, bespoke to your location and arranged around other team members area. - Breakdown, service, fault finding on Gas Engines and CHPs - Mechanical and potentially some 3 phase electrical maintenance - Acting as the ambassador and face of the company - No call out and very little weekend duties. Skills and experience - Service or maintenance on diesel engines, gas engines, generators or CHPs - Electrical or mechanical experience and qualifications - Ideally but not essential experience MAN, MWM, MTU, Jenbacher, CAT. - Customer facing and presentation skills - Flexibility of hours - Desire and ability to learn - Location can be anywhere South of Birmingham and West of the M1.
