Job Description Pastoral ManagerLocation:BirminghamRole Type: Full-timeSetting: Secondary SchoolPay: 120 150 per dayWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pastoral Manager to work full-time in a secondary school setting on an ongoing basis. This role is subject to satisfactory reference checks and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage behaviour and pastoral support within the schoolSupport students with behavioural, emotional, and social needsRespond to and manage behaviour incidents in line with school policiesWork closely with staff, parents, and external professionalsSupport attendance, punctuality, and engagementContribute to safeguarding and child protection proceduresMaintain accurate behaviour records, reports, and documentationImplement behaviour strategies and targeted interventionsEssential Requirements:Previous experience in a behaviour or pastoral role within a secondary schoolStrong behaviour management skills and resilienceExperience working with challenging behaviourEnhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)Strong communication and organisational skillsAbility to complete administrative tasks associated with the roleThis is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional looking for a full-time, ongoing role within a secondary school environment.About Balfor Education: Balfor Education is a leading UK recruitment agency, specialising in providing teaching and support staff to schools, colleges, and educational institutions.
