Crosshead Extrusion Setter

The Best Connection West Bromwich has a fantastic opportunity for a Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join our clients fantastic manufacturing/distribution centre based within the heart of West Bromwich. Pay: 14.00. Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm. Immediate start - Interview & CV is required before starting this role. You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below. Daily duties include: Work under the direction of a Team Leader, following assigned tasks and instructions. Set up and operate Crosshead Extrusion machinery. Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning. Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records. Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as required. What qualities we are looking for: Strong experience in setting up and operating crosshead extrusion machinery. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Driven to achieve targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
